Beacon

Open-source, local-first memory layer that captures sessions across 20+ coding agents and turns them into reusable knowledge.

Beacon, built by Asymptote Labs, is an MIT-licensed memory layer for AI coding agents that captures session history across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode and 20+ other harnesses. It normalizes prompts, tool calls, commands and edits into one trace format stored locally, then turns reviewed workflows and corrections into reusable memory that future agents retrieve via MCP or Agent Skills. It runs fully local for free, with an optional hosted Beacon Cloud and a Pro tier at $20 a month.
