Hermes Agent

Nous Research's open-source, self-improving personal agent that learns skills and memory over time.

Hermes Agent is an open-source, MIT-licensed AI agent built by Nous Research with a built-in learning loop: it creates and refines skills from experience, keeps curated memory and searches its past conversations. You can talk to it from the terminal or from Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp and Signal, and it includes a cron scheduler for unattended automations and subagents for parallel work. It works with any model provider, including Nous Portal, OpenRouter and OpenAI, and can run locally, on a cheap VPS or on serverless backends like Modal and Daytona.
